There are small form factor and large form factor drives, and a couple of common interface connections. The PS2 uses 3.5 inch form factor IDE hard drives. SATA is the modern standard. IIRC, PS4 and PS3 use 2.5 inch form factor SATA drives.Connect the drive to your PC to set it up, format it with the proper tool, and then use that tool to install games as individual partitions.
