Click to expand.Little trick:Go into the mod folder inside the Medieval II folder. There, pick one of the Kingdoms campaign folders and make a backup. Rename the SS6.3 folder into the name of the Kingdoms campaign folder you backed up. Then, try to start exactly that Kingdoms campaign from the launcher and the game should instead start Stainless Steel.(Optional, go into the SS folder and use SSSetup to change it to your desired options; those will be saved even if you don't start the game/let it crash upon autostart.).
